Nintendo creating buzz with its Nintendo Direct Event

According to GameInformer, Nintendo showcased a bunch of new information regarding both the 3DS and Wii U.

As for the Nintendo 3DS, new games include Mario&Luigi: Dream Team, Mario Golf: World Tour, a new 2D/3D hybrid Zelda game, Donkey Kong Returns 3D, a new Yoshi’s Island game, a new Mario Party game, and the SNES classic Earthbound.

Nintendo also announced that Pikmin 3 will be released for the Wii U on August 4 in the U.S. Plus the Wii U will also get a system update that will include  letting gamers still download games while the system is on standby, disabling the auto-shut-down feature while someone is downloading, and improvement on loading times.

  1. You have always been able to disable auto-shutdown. I have my TV set to auto-shutdown, but my Wii and Wii U are set to always-on, since they use so little electricity and I play them so often.

    1. this is in regard to when someone is downloading something, im sorry if i didn’t present the news in the most concise manner, thanks for the input
