Nintendo reveals the Wii U’s virtual console launch lineup

Through a post on the Wii U’s Facebook page, Nintendo unveiled eight classic games from the NES and SNES.

Games so far revealed for the NES will be Balloon Fight, Donkey Kong Jr., Excite Bike, Ice Climber, Kirby’s Adventure, and Punch Out!!. As for SNES games that were mentioned are F-Zero and Super Mario World.

Prices for the games specifically for NES will range from $4.99 to $5.99. As for SNES games,they will go for $7.99 to $8.99.

Nintendo in the past has mentioned that they will also be releasing Nintendo 64 and Gameboy Advance games on the virtual console in the near future.

The virtual console will arrive a day after the Wii U system update that will happen later on this week.
