According to joystiq, Sony has revealed that Gran Turismo 6 will be coming out for the PS3 this holiday season of 2013 and a later date for the PS4. Kazunori Yamauchi, president of Polyphony Digital and franchise creator, has revealed that Gran Turismo 6 will be using renewed game engine as well as a new physics engine.
Gran Turismo 6 will feautre 1,200 cars, 71 course layouts, and 33 locations. Additional tracks will come via dlc in a monthly basis in addition to releasing more cars in the future.
Gran Turismo 6 will also have a new course creator, plus players will also get a chance to create there own racing communites and championsips.
Sony has revealed that Gran Turismo 6 will be compatible with smart phones and tablets, as well as being connected more with social media.
Gran Turismo 6 demo will be available on July 2013.
