Chicago based rapper Kanye West was projected to show a screening of his new music video “New Slaves” in 24 different cities around the world.
However, the screening in Houston, Texas was shut down early on Friday night by Houston police.
According to the Houston Chronicle, police arrived at the Rothko Chapel Central Library in downtown Houston, the location in which the screening took place, with police sirens and flashing lights.
Police threaten to arrest the crowd in attendance if they refuse to leave. Those in attendance left peacefully.
Kanye West will continue to show the screening of his latest music video in cities such as Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Diego, and some cites in Europe.
