Nirvana and KISS are in a tight race for first place in the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ballot.

This year marks the first Nirvana became a candidate for the Hall as the band’s debut album “Bleach” will have its 25th anniversary next year.

As of today KISS stays in first place with 16.06% of the vote while Nirvana has 15.75% of the vote.

Other artists in the ballot Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, N.W.A, Link Wray and The Zombies.

You can vote for Nirvana (or whomever you wish) here.

If Nirvana does in fact get inducted, would you like to see the band’s surviving members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic reunite along with Pat Smear to play Nirvana tunes? If so, who should be the singer?
