Summer is coming and so are the blockbusters. May is filled with movies the nation has been waiting to see, from super heroes to monsters.

May. 2

The on-screen and off-screen couple of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return for The Amazing Spider Man 2. Peter Parker begins to run the gauntlet of villains including the Green Goblin (Dane DehHaan) and Electro (Jamie Foxx).

Elizabeth Banks plays a journalist who is about to interview for the dream job as news anchor but after a one-night stand leaves her stranded, she has to find a way to figure out where she is and how to get to her interview. Walk of Shame is written and directed by Little Nikki and Mr. Deeds‘ Steven Brill.

May. 9

Chef is a comedy about a chef who loses his job and starts up a food truck while he’s trying to put his family back together. Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, Dustin Hoffman and Sofia Vergara star in the comedy.

Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return is an animated sequel to the legendary tale of Dorothy. Voice actors include Patrick Stewart, Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammar and Lea Michele.

Some women need a nice Mom’s Night Out but need their husbands to take care of the kids meanwhile they have the times of their lives.  There are no notable name sin the comedy.

The anticipated comedy Neighbors focuses on a young new family who happen to move in next to fraternity. Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Dave Franco and more star in Nicholas Stoller‘s directed film.

May. 16

The brand new remake of the classic Godzilla will be released on this date. The film is obviously about the attempt to take down the big guy who happens to be single-handedly destroying cities.

We haven’t had a baseball movie this year so this a good time to speak about Million Dollar Arm. Jon Hamm plays a sports agent who discovers and recruits two cricket players into Major League Baseball.

May. 23

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore return together in the big screen once again…ughhh. Blended is a “comedy” about a man and a woman who go on a blind date and then somehow find themselves stuck in a resort. Ha-ha..

To apologize for giving you another Adam Sandler film, Hollywood decides to give some X-Men in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The group of superhero mutants turn to Wolverine to help prevent the doom of humans and mutants. Hell Yeah.

May. 30

Seth MacFarlane brings you A Million Ways To Die In The West. Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and more star in the film.

Maleficent is a unique film about the untold story of Sleeping Beauty’s villian. Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning co-star.
